Someone hit up a thesaurus, because this writer might need some more superlatives to help describe the job WWE are doing with Roman Reigns. In fact, add both Jey Uso and Kevin Owens into that, because they too are on top form.

Following the main event tag (that turned into a two-on-one handicap situation), Roman and Jey bashed a helpless KO with steel chairs. Then, to remind Uso who calls the shots around here, Reigns blasted his cousin from behind and started laying into him too. Without missing a beat, Roman then told Kevin not to target his family.

The genius of this is that Reigns believes only he can beat up Jey - not out of rivalry, but to steer him on the right path. This one plot point vindicates what KO has been harping on about, and it makes Roman look like a heartless beast who believes his own hype.

According to Roman, coming for the Universal Title is akin to coming for his spot, and he can't have that. Brilliant stuff.
