6 Ups & 3 Downs From WWE SmackDown (Jan 3)

1. Sasha Continues To Fall

Sasha Banks is in real danger of becoming mediocre.

When the 'Legit Boss' returned last summer, she was hot sh*t, went after top names like Becky Lynch and claimed she was the face of the entire women's division. Fast forward to January 2020 and she's kicking off the new year by losing to Dana Brooke. Nothing against Dana, but that's quite the dramatic fall from grace.

Things are unlikely to get better for Banks next week. There, she'll meet Lacey Evans one-on-one, and the smart money would be on a 'Sassy Southern' victory for Miss. Evans so she can roll onto the Rumble and face Bayley for the SmackDown Women's Title. What the hell happened to Sasha, and why is she the sacrificial lamb?

It's like Banks and Bayley are booked the wrong way round. Sasha is the stronger, more dominant public speaker, and Bayley is blatantly still her sidekick. Banks has gone from 'Boss' to bitch in less than six months, and it's not cool.
