6 Ups & 3 Downs From WWE SmackDown (June 24)

4. A Match That Never Fails

Sami Zayn Shinsuke Nakamura

Sami Zayn and Shinsuke Nakamura could wrestle watchable matches in their sleep. Their latest was another effort that's well worth your time. Best of all, it had the right winner. Sami's delusional, "I'm in The Bloodline" story is really working well for him.

Money In The Bank is more interesting for having him in it.

That's not meant as a shot at Nakamura, by the way. He'd have been a fine entrant for MITB himself, but WWE still has time to fill out the final two slots with a couple of babyfaces (it's very heel heavy right now) before getting to the pay-per-view.

Whilst it's undeniable that they're a half-step slower than they were when locking horns at NXT TakeOver: Dallas in 2016, this pair still know how to put on a clinic. Go out of your way to see this 2022 version, just...don't compare it to six years ago.
