5. Pat McAfee’s SummerSlam Challenge

Man, Pat McAfee is a better promo than 99.9% of WWE's roster.

That's fairly damning, but it's not Pat's fault. Everything he does has serious energy, and his challenge for Happy Corbin on this week's show was no different. It's a smashing idea to program these guys against one another too - it's exactly what Corbin needs post-Madcap Moss.

McAfee didn't chew up too much time with his SummerSlam challenge. He said what needed to be said, lined up a video package recapping last week, then reiterated that he'd make Corbin his bitch in Nashville on 30 July. It's hard to poke holes in anything the guy said here.

Someone needs to get Pat on the case and get him in to lead promo classes too. He knows how to structure his speeches, and he always comes across as totally assured. That's definitely not the case with most elsewhere in the company.
