6 Ups & 3 Downs From WWE SmackDown (June 4)

1. Where Art Thou, Cesaro?

Kayla Braxton Seth Rollins

Come Sunday, Hell In A Cell will be two weeks away. Two. Weeks! Instead of building towards an inevitable rematch between Seth Rollins and Cesaro by having the latter on the show, WWE decided to write their 'Swiss Superman' out for a fortnight by having Rollins attack him then...well, that's it.

What was the purpose of this sit-down interview exactly? Kayla Braxton asked Rollins to explain his attack, but Seth had already done that the prior week by claiming he "blacked out" due to the rage Cesaro caused. This skit only made it seem like Kayla doesn't pay attention, and that undermines her position as a "roving reporter".

WWE will have to move fast if they want Rollins vs. Cesaro to be one of the Cell bouts at HIAC. They're running out of time here, and now have just two episodes of blue brand telly to work in Cesaro's comeback, the challenge and then some last-minute hype.

Tick tock.
