6 Ups & 3 Downs From WWE SmackDown (March 15 - Results & Review)

Ups...

6. A Neat Little Tag Effort

Angel Humberto Legado del Fantasma LWO

Tag-team wrestling is magic.

Angel and Humberto beating Joaquin Wilde and Cruz del Toro was second string in the overarching Legado del Fantasma vs. LWO story, but it was fine for what it was. All four guys gelled instantly, and it's genuinely nice to see Angel and Berto score a win after being overlooked stretching back to the Los Lotharios days.

Granted, the result was never actually in any doubt. The LWO crew are glorified enhancement workers who are lucky to be tied to names like Rey Mysterio and Carlito for now, but Wilde and del Toro have obvious talent. Despite both sides needing a wee bit more character development, they had a tidy match here.

The Fantasma boys now go on to the next round in their quest to qualify for that ladder bout at 'Mania. Will they get there? Nah, probably not, but it's lovely to see teams like this get more TV time to show what they can do. WWE should stick 10-min tag matches like this out there more often.
