There were worried glances once New Catch Republic stared at the lights for Damian Priest and Finn Bálor over in Australia at Elimination Chamber. Would that be the end of their function as a unit? In a word, no. Thankfully, WWE's writers see the value Tyler Bate and Pete Dunne bring to the party.

There's a lot of juice left to squeeze from Bate restoring Dunne to former glory.

NCR always work hard, and it'd be awesome if they were rewarded for that later in the year. For now, having them power past Pretty Deadly towards a match vs. Angel and Humberto is a solid idea. Picturing the Brits in that ladder match at 'Mania is a safe bet - they need this more than the del Fantasma crew right now.

The fact SmackDown had not one but two robust tag-team bouts to offer is a glorious thing to report. The tag ranks have been boiled down to focus on one team and nobody else at several points over the past few years. Is a division revival on the way yet again?

Yes please.
