6 Ups & 3 Downs From WWE SmackDown (March 15 - Results & Review)

3. All It Needed To Be

LA Knight AJ Styles

LA Knight dripped charisma during his promo on-stage with Kayla Braxton, and the fans gobbled up every word. The popular babyface challenged AJ Styles to meet him face-to-face in-ring at 'Mania, then moody TNA heel AJ showed up to level him and look all menacing like it was 2012 all over again. Class.

Styles used a steel chair to do his dirty work, which has been a common thread throughout the entire issue between these two. That was a neat touch, but such attention to detail is something people have come to expect from workers as skilled as AJ. He really is one of the best to ever do it.

It's sweet to see Styles and Knight get their blow off in Philly. Credit must go to the creative team for keeping this storyline going for months without over-egging the pudding or boring everyone to death - they've leaned on the strengths of both workers (AJ's star power and LA's mic work) where possible.

Can't wait to see the actual match.
