There's a companion-piece 'Up' to go along with this, don't worry.

Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso revealed they'd both be on SmackDown during Monday's Raw, but neither man featured on the show until the closing brawl. So, did the new tag-teamers know that Paul Heyman would strike a deal with Judgment Day and they'd be needed for a big brawl at the end, or something?

If not, then exactly when were Cody and Jey going to show face? WWE announced they'd be involved ahead of time, but neither one had a match or even any promo time. That didn't really make sense, and it slightly cheapened the moment. Of course, it couldn't douse the flames completely (more on that later).

Realistically, it would've been nice had Rhodes or Uso starred in a match or even a backstage segment. They needed to have some part to play before handily mucking around backstage to lend a hand when LA Knight and John Cena required backup.
