No, WWE shouldn't call Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baszler that if they become a tag-team. Their backstage chat did hint that they'll be working together very soon though, so there will be a literal 'Mixed Martial Alliance' between the pair.

Bring it on.

Ronda and Shayna, assuming they're set loose to physically wreck opponents with strikes and submissions, could be the kind of linchpin tag those crummy Women's Tag belts sorely need. This, if it happens, will be one million times better than the frankly sh*te teams Baszler formed with Nia Jax and Natalya too.

There's an edge to both right now that's all rather exciting. They're standing so far above everybody else in the division for a reason - credibility counts for everything, and fans believe Ronda and Shayna could realistically maul everybody who crosses their path.

That'd work as a tag gimmick.
