Fans came unglued for the unexpected and unadvertised appearances of Stone Cold Steve Austin and The Rock as the landmark edition of the 'Show Of Shows' commenced, but were already in fine spirits after the planned patter from 'The Hulkster' gently veered off the rails.

Unlike the numerous other bouts of verbal diarrhea Hulk Hogan's had in his career, the venue-based botches early in his crowd-rousing promo only added warmth to the first ever mid-ring meeting of the three biggest stars in company history.

'The Rattlesnake' and 'The Great One' were welcome additions to Hogan's address, even if the pops were perhaps too huge for much of the roster to follow.
