6. Dominik Throws Stablemates Under The Bus

After what seems like an eternity, it feels more likely than ever that a significant upheaval in the Judgment Day is coming.

Dominik Mysterio has been increasingly on the outs with his brethren in recent months, especially Finn Balor, but he’s been struggling to find allies in the clubhouse lately as he has relied on help from El Grande Americano to win his matches rather than his Judgment Day cohorts.

Monday, Dirty Dom went a step further and guilt-tripped JD McDonagh to take up his battles for him by fighting Rusev – but Mysterio didn’t mention that he had already booked the match with Raw GM Adam Pearce.

The McDonagh/Rusev match was surprisingly good, in that it seemed to be a squash until JD came back and made it somewhat competitive, even getting a bit of sympathy and support from the fans. In the end, Rusev shrugged off the attacks and locked in the Accolade, only for Dominik to chicken out and leave JD for dead.

Finn Balor was forced to make the save and chase Rusev, then berated Mysterio for freezing after he had put McDonagh in harm’s way.

It’s not hard to envision the rest of Judgment Day growing tired of Dom’s antics, and then a returning Liv Morgan either saving Mysterio or throwing gasoline on the fire.
