6 Ups & 4 Downs From AEW Collision (Nov 17 - Results & Review)

5. The Right SPOT For Everyone

Trent Beretta Penta
AEW

Emphasis on "spot".

Trent Beretta vs. Komander vs. Brian Cage vs. Penta was an undoubted spotfest, but that's not always a bad thing when cards require an energetic boost. This one did, and it was a nice use of the double shot formatting from AEW to set up a later match for Rampage on Collision.

Here's hoping that convinced a few more folks than usual to stick around for the 'C' show/third hour of content. Rampage could honestly use a few more eyeballs before it goes the way of Dark or Dark: Elevation long-term. Oh don't give that look - you know it's coming eventually.

Yes, this was yet another hastily-assembled title match scenario that won't mean anything in the long run, but it gets a pass because of the aforementioned unique double shot setup. Beretta winning a TNT Title shot was also fine, and everyone else got enough licks in to make their involvement well worth it.
