6 Ups & 4 Downs From AEW Collision (Nov 17 - Results & Review)

4. Top Match & The Promise Of More

Buddy Matthews AEW
AEW

Buddy Matthews and Wheeler Yuta brought it this week. Both men looked like they had something to prove, and had agreed behind the curtain that they'd try steal the sleeper hit spot on Collision. It says everything for the quality of other bouts that they could only come close.

This is another match up AEW can return to next year though.

Post-match, Buddy showed off his House Of Black evil by grabbing a steel chair and trying to put an exclamation point on a hard-fought victory. Claudio Castagnoli put a stop to that and rushed out to save his BCC stablemate from a kicking. Then, Claudio fired out a challenge to Buddy for Full Gear.

Yes please to that. Those lads will tear the f*cking house down, and it's legit smashing to see Matthews have something to do whilst his pals spin off into the tag title hunt. Buddy vs. Claudio should be a credit to Saturday's undercard.
