6 Ups & 4 Downs From AEW Dynamite: Beach Break (Feb 3)

5. This Bracket Rules

Yuka Sakazaki

AEW announced the full Women's World Championship Eliminator tournament bracket last night - and it rules.

The "American" side has such a tremendous blend of talent. Serena Deeb, Thunder Rosa, and Riho are the most complete women's wrestlers in the company not named Hikaru Shida. As champions and former champions respectively, Nyla Rose, Deeb, Rosa, and Riho bring prestige. Anna Jay, Leyla Hirsch, and Tay Conti are amongst AEW's most promising wrestlers regardless of gender. Britt Baker, meanwhile, is the best-defined personality on the scene and ready to take the throne.

The Japanese bracket is highlighted by the return of Yuka Sakazaki, who looked set for a bigger role before the pandemic, plus Aja Kong, Emi Sakura, and Ryo Miznunami, all coming back for the first time in well over a year. Elsewhere, Maki Itoh will bring boatloads of character and become many wrestlers' new favourite wrestler overnight.

It's a great blend of talent, and we can only hope a sufficient amount of these matches take place on Dynamite, not YouTube.
