6 Ups & 4 Downs From AEW Dynamite (May 28)

Ups...

6. The Live Crowd

What a rush.

Dynamite had an unbelievable atmosphere from minute one. Sure, the weigh in threatened to bore everyone to sleep, and some of the matches were hardly world class, but people inside Daily's Place were right up for a good time. They were electric, and that was so, so good to see again.

The changed set up, with the entrance in the corner, also looked cool as hell and gave Dynamite a unique visual appeal. That was welcome after a solid year of pretty much looking at the same sets over and over across both AEW and WWE. Hopefully, they'll keep this look for a few months and then maybe shake it up again when necessary.

Back to the fans. They were loud, proud and treated the likes of Darby Allin, Britt Baker, Miro and Orange Cassidy like top stars. That's an encouraging sign for AEW going forwards, especially because some of those workers got bigger reactions than guys like Jericho or Sting.
