6 Ups & 4 Downs From AEW Dynamite (May 28)

4. A Visual AEW Can Come Back To?

Orange Cassidy AEW Title
AEW

AEW will have to find another layer to Orange Cassidy's laid-back character at some point. It's hard to picture a modern World Champ who doesn't do much (if any) talking, but who knows - maybe Orange could be a trailblazer in that respect and prove it can work.

OK, enough negativity in an 'Up'!

Despite PAC's definite third-wheeling, Orange and Kenny Omega got the necessary points across before Cassidy battered the champ and posed with his title. Orange shredding Kenny's offer to defer his championship challenger status from last week was a nice moment, and the segment just clicked by the end.

Dynamite's live crowd also reacted positively to the visual of Cassidy posing with the AEW World Title, and that won't escape the attention of Tony Khan. The boss is already a big fan of Orange anyway, but he'll be pleased that the hardcore audience accepted this as much as they did.
