6 Ups & 4 Downs From IMPACT Wrestling (13 May)

5. Another Chapter Written

While nothing to write home about, the latest chapter in Rosemary and Havok’s storied history was a solid match. The added stakes of a Knockouts Championship opportunity for the winner at Under Siege only made the match step up another level.

There was a different aura to this one compared to their previous outings, stemming from their handshake at the onset of the bell. Once they started hamming in, though, that’s when things became stellar. At one point, Rosemary acted as if she was preparing to spray mist into Havok’s eyes, refraining from doing so only because of their apparent new friendship.

A Spear from ‘The Demon Assassin’ was executed greatly here, but it would be Havok’s match to win, spiking the Decay woman with a Tombstone to cement her place on the Under Siege card. A Tombstone post-match to Deonna Purrazzo occurred only because Decay had prevented ‘The Virtuosa’ from leaving.

The match was good. They didn’t need to do anything fancy because there’s an IMPACT Plus special at the weekend; there is going to be an abundance of those more risqué spots on that show. For what it set out to accomplish, though, this ticked the required boxes.
