6 Ups & 4 Downs From IMPACT Wrestling (5 August)

2. Workplace Bullying

Somehow, the Taylor Wilde vs. Tenille Dashwood saga got worse after that initial segment, with a follow-up going down on the latest All About Me.

Tenille and Kaleb With A K were joined by Dr. Ross Forman, who looked just as uncomfortable to be there as it was to watch. That's not a blight on any of the talent involved; the skit just didn't work in this context. When Scott D'Amore showed up, he informed Dashwood of her match next week vs. Taylor Wilde, doing so in a condescending manner.

D'Amore, the supposed babyface authority figure, slapped Kaleb - who's back in a neckbrace - in the back several times, didn't give Tenille a chance to say a single word, and then asked if she'd gotten Madison Rayne's permission to use the Locker Room Talk set for All About Me.

Wrestling critics always moan about heel authority figures, though in reality, babyface bosses aren't that great either. It's often the exact opposite of the heel figures; they'll favour the good guys, rather than call it down the middle. This doesn't work, and often positions the face authority figures as d*cks. Heels would favour people; babyfaces shouldn't.
