6 Ups & 4 Downs From IMPACT Wrestling (8 July)
3. Who Gets Fire N Flava?
Subjectively, Rosemary and Havok vs. Kimber Lee and Susan was fine. It worked alright as a number one contender's match, even if the outcome was a given. Still, it had some decent moments. A double Rainmaker variation early on from Rosemary and Havok, as well as the Russian legsweep and Spear combination from the duo were both excellent displays of the former rivals working well together.
So, why's it a Down? It just wasn't enough given that this was a contendership match. You didn't leave this match feeling any more excited for Rosemary and Havok challenging Fire N Flava at Slammiversary.
That Kimber Lee and Susan seemingly couldn't get on the same page also didn't help matters. Their attempt at some amalgamation of a Full Nelson and a sidewalk slam saw them on edge with each other. They stated last week that they're planning to bring back Su Yung, with Father James Mitchell returning this week to further that plot. Why are they now struggling to work together then?
