6 Ups & 4 Downs From Impact Wrestling (Oct 27)

1. Who Shot Bravo?

Everyone and their dog knows that wrestling weddings never go to plan, with Impact Wrestling being no different. Previous Impact weddings have seen Sami Callihan smash a beer bottle over the bride's head, and 2013 Hall of Fame inductee Kurt Angle wielding an axe.

This time, however? The groom was shot.

No, really. Rosemary and John E. Bravo told each their vows, placed rings on one another's fingers, and went to kiss, before the lights went out, a shot was heard, and we came back to Bravo laying on the floor. Tommy Dreamer screamed to end one of the more intriguing episodes of Impact Wrestling in quite some time, as we now embark on yet another 'who dunnit?' scenario.

The wedding had been a long time coming, with the seeds initially being planted all the way back in spring, but the actual wedding itself was most definitely worth the wait. The ring was surrounded by a slew of oddball characters - XXXL dressed as The Nasty Boys, The Rascalz reprising their characters from last year's Throwback Throwdown event, and another wrestler dressed as a taco. Everything came together to make for one of wrestling's most interesting weddings to date.

You can make the argument that Impact have overused the 'who dunnit?' story this year, from 'who attacked Trey Miguel?' to 'who attacked Eddie Edwards?', but neither of those were the worst thing ever. It's an easy way to build a new story and/or character, and whoever is revealed as the eventual culprit will no doubt benefit in some capacity.
