6 Ups & 4 Downs From Impact Wrestling (Oct 27)
3. Purrazzo's Intentions
Deonna Purrazzo didn't really say or do anything this week, yet she still looked like an absolute star in the process. Imagine having the star power to be able to achieve this.
'The Virtuosa' was joined by not only Kimber Lee, but also Barrister RD Evans, who intended to take Impact's executive vice president Scott D'Amore to court over Deonna's loss of the Knockouts Championship to Su Yung. According to the former ROH star, he has the power to make D'Amore's life hell, meaning he already slots perfectly into Impact Wrestling. Evans was adamant to serve an injunction against Scott, seeing as Deonna didn't face her originally scheduled opponent at Bound For Glory.
Instead, though, the trio agreed to Scott's counter offer which will see Deonna challenge 'The Undead Bride' for the title on next week's episode of Impact Wrestling, with the new champion then appearing to choke out Purrazzo, Lee, and Evans with her blood-coated rag. Like with Deonna, Yung did little, but still managed to be on fire for her entire time in-ring. Her absence from the company over the past number of months has been massively noticeable.
Their BFG match was rather good, and now that we know it's a match on the card as opposed to being a surprise open challenge, it'll no doubt be even better than Saturday's original clash.
