6 Ups & 4 Downs From Last Night's NXT (March 11)
2. I Haven't Got A Pun For This, It Was Just A Good Match
Once Dream was out of the way we got on without "main-event" of the night as The Broserweights defended the tag-team titles against the Undisputed Era. You really don't need me to tell you what followed do you? The team who gets the absolute best out of all their opponents, vs arguably the best team in the entire company at the moment.
It was frantic, it was brutal, but critically felt like about 2/3rds of it were being held back for something far better down the road. Every man in the match looked like an absolute star, and when the UE do finally separate Fish and O'Reilly should be put together for their own feud immediately.
The only slight downside was the bizarre involvement of the Grizzled Young Veterans. Appearing at ringside to try and cost the Broserweights (why?) they ended up getting battered off the apron as an apparently 6 on 2 disadvantage yielded no results. A strange one, but not something that distracted from the overall quality of the match.
