6 Ups & 4 Downs From This Week's Impact Wrestling (Jun 21)

4. Undeniable

When Glenn Gilbertti was targeting the Knockouts division, almost every segment of that story ended up receiving a Down in these articles. While the case seemed to be the same when it was Sami Callihan taking the role of Glenn, it appears that the rivalry is going down an alright route where it's not being distasteful towards the women.

This week's opening match saw Tessa Blanchard facing one of Sami's allies in the form of Jake Crist. As expected with this pairing, the match was a decent one. There were plenty of slams and dives, eventually culminating with a victory for the 'Queen of the Carolinas' after she pulled off her Magnum finisher. The only thing better than a Codebreaker is a diving Codebreaker.

With Sami now having issued a challenge to Tessa for a match at Slammiversary, it appears as if we could be nearing the end of the story. This hasn't been nearly as bad as the whole Glenn Gilbertti nonsense, but it's still rather tedious at times. However, it remains on this side of the column once again this week.
