6 Ups & 4 Downs From WWE Raw (11 March - Results & Review)

2. Becky Versus The World

Not for nothing, but Becky Lynch’s victory over Liv Morgan was only one facet of her solid Monday night.

After the match, Rhea Ripley came out to dress her down, pointing out that Lynch keeps seeking fights week after week even as WrestleMania draws nearer, because she has to prove to herself that she’s still the best. Ripley then noted that if Becky shows up to Mania at anything less than 100%, Mami will humble her. Becky acknowledged the self-doubt from before Royal Rumble but said that when people doubt her, she’s at her best.

Fast-forward a bit, and Lynch and Morgan were jumped backstage by Nia Jax, with Becky put through a table for good measure. A short time later, Lynch issued a challenge for a Last Woman Standing match, proving Rhea’s point of Becky needing to fight her way out of everything, even if it means she leaves a piece of herself in the ring.

Becky the gunslinger is going to either take everyone down on her way to taking down Ripley, or she’s going to die trying. If she succeeds, it’ll be a tremendous story. If she falls short, she’ll have no one to blame but herself in overpreparing.
