6. A Good Women’s Tag Title Match

This column has spent considerable time criticizing the women’s tag division, so here is some praise for a decent tag title match between the Kabuki Warriors and Shayna Baszler & Zoey Stark.

While the match will be forgotten in a matter of days, it was a fast-paced battle that saw the champs finally have a good title defense after disappointing bouts at Elimination Chamber and on NXT last week. Baszler and Stark’s no-nonsense attacks meshed well with Asuka and Kairi Sane’s strikes, providing action that fans came alive for as the match progressed.

This still was far from a memorable Kabuki Warriors match, but some mild praise is deserved after repeated criticism. However, WWE still has much work to do to get fans invested and to turn things around with this division.
