6 Ups & 4 Downs From WWE Raw (11 March - Results & Review)

5. An IC Title Bright Spot

Ricochet JD McDonagh
WWE

As disappointing as the final part of the gauntlet match was, it’s impossible to ignore the performance of Ricochet and JD McDonagh in the opening segment.

The two cruiserweights delivered a surprisingly long and entertaining match, with some eye-popping action getting a pretty good reaction out of the crowd. It’s especially notable considering that neither man really had a chance of winning – and fans had to know that – so they just went out and wowed the audience.

This was Ricochet’s first match on Raw since November, which is inexcusable when you consider how talented he is and how well he would mesh with so many different wrestlers. Hopefully, this performance opens some doors for him because the One and Only is too good to be sitting at home or just wrestling house show matches for four months.
