6 Ups & 4 Downs From WWE Raw (25 Nov - Results & Review)

4. Bianca Belair Has A Long Memory

Too often in professional wrestling, characters blow off and ignore very valid issues and history between one another in the name of simplifying stories: babyfaces will overlook a recently turned heel’s misdeeds because they’re now aligned against the same opponents.

That inconsistency has been receding in WWE in recent years, with Jey Uso’s journey on Raw last year being a prime example. But Bianca Belair used her own experiences and struggles with Damage CTRL to cast doubt on possible additions to their WarGames team on Monday night. Down a woman, Iyo Sky suggested Kairi Sane, prompting Belair to nix the idea of adding another member of the stable she once battled to the mix. Similarly, she shot down the notion of Bayley being the fifth woman due to their history.

With that disagreement churning, they then threw in Rhea Ripley not caring about any of this because all she cares about is getting her hands on Liv Morgan. The result is actual tension among the women’s babyface team built around a “real” situation: their team was thrown into disarray by Jade Cargill’s injury, and now they’re bickering with each other, showing that it’s not exactly the Avengers.
