4. So Much For The Tease

Judgment Day Adam Pearce
WWE

Heading into Raw, WWE teased that little dirtbag Dominik Mysterio would have to wrestle a "mystery man" in the main event. That silhouette-based teaser splashed all over social media was almost immediately chucked out the nearest window when GM Adam Pearce outright told Dom that he'd be up against Damian Priest.

Small gripe, sure, but it might've been an idea to keep Dominik hanging on a wee bit longer. Blowing the "mystery" wide open so early did nothing for Raw as a show, so dangling the carrot in front of fans (no matter how obvious) could've led to a bigger pop for Priest. Instead, he walked out to near silence, which sucked to see.

This was rather WCW of WWE, being brutally honest.

Mysterio tried to 'no sweat' the situation by requesting his Judgment Day colleagues stay backstage and let him handle business. That was never going to happen, obviously. The whole presentation of this was botched. Way to ruin your own tease, guys!
