6 Ups & 4 Downs From WWE SmackDown (11 Oct - Results & Review)

Ups...

6. The Jey Uso Reunion Tease

Roman Reigns Jimmy Uso Bloodline

The upside to that opening promo was that Roman and Jimmy patched up some remaining tension then quickly turned to the idea that Uso reckons they need help. Reigns wasn't so sure (that'd change later on), but he does realise he needs something to spark change if he's going to seize back control of family business from Solo Sikoa.

"YEET!".

Jimmy bringing that up was good fun, and the live crowd instantly responded by putting over Jey's catchphrase like it's the second coming of Daniel Bryan's "YES!" mantra. Generally, the formatting for SmackDown's opening segment was largely excellent barring the questionable Rock omission.

There's still a little bit of bitter history to get through before Jey is back by Roman and Jimmy's side, and both men know that. However, painting the picture that Jim is more willing than Reigns is a fine way to go. Ultimately, blood will prove thicker than (Triple H's booking) water.
