Wrestlers acting like real human beings who don't forget history is everything.

SmackDown included a quickfire skit that saw Cody Rhodes thanking Jimmy Uso for helping out at Bad Blood. Things were cordial, but there was definitely frost between them. As there should be. Jimmy remarked that Cody shouldn't get used to it, 'cause there won't be anymore help where that came from.

The whole thing was so short and sweet that it probably flew under some radars. All of these tiny inserts have been a calling card of the wider Bloodline narrative though. Think back to 2020 when Roman was passive aggressively manipulating The Usos to do his bidding, and gaslighting them into believing it was for their own good.

Gee, on-screen characters with sizzle still acting like everyday humans would. Who knew that'd work?! OK, enough snarky comments. This was really good, and it didn't need to chew up a lot of time on the show to get its point across. Just a few seconds was all this pair needed to tie up something that happened on the latest PLE.
