1. The Original Bloodline’s Reunion

Payoff came right at the end of the night.

Sami planted Solo with a Helluva Kick whilst Sikoa gripped Roman, and that got a booming reaction from the live crowd in Buffalo. After that, Zayn and Reigns worked a staredown before The Usos made their minds up for them by pointing one finger each towards the skies. Relenting, Sami and Roman joined in. The original Bloodline is back together, probably just because they have a common enemy: Solo's version.

4v4 at Survivor Series in WarGames was always on the cards, but it's nice to have confirmation on that a few weeks out from the PLE rather than leaving things until the last possible second. For example, this finger pointing business involving Zayn wouldn't have flown as well had it happened on the 'go home' edition pre Survivors. It needed to take place with more time to bed in so creative can iron out a few more wrinkles; Reigns still hasn't apologised to Jey or Sami. Is that coming next?

SmackDown went off the air with Roman, The Usos and Sami all united again. In retrospect, it was clever to lay things out the way WWE did. They've taken their time with all of this and yet still kicked the OG Bloodline reunion arc off with a few more weeks of TV to mess around with before the actual WarGames bout takes place.

A hug between Zayn and Reigns, frosty or otherwise, is going to be one of the most unmissable wrestling moments of the entire year. It's stunning that The Bloodline is a gift that keeps on giving this far in.
