Let's be crystal clear about something: Karrion Kross and Scarlett badly needed something to do on Friday nights that didn't involve making grandiose promises then failing to deliver on them. Now, the pair have aligned with the returning Paul Ellering (WHAT A RUSH!) and Authors Of Pain to form SmackDown's newest stable.

Obviously, everyone will just have to wait and see how things pan out long term, but this was a strong enough start to spark interest straight away. Matches vs. Bobby Lashley and The Street Profits (who also need some steam themselves) should be an excellent use of everyone too.

Matching up with a former World Champ like Bobby is a step in the right direction for Kross. No doubt.

It's gonna be interesting to see who does the most talking here too. Will Ellering take the lead there, or will Scarlett emerge to show off some promo chops in coming weeks? Or, will both be largely mute and Karrion will be the lead talker? Questions, questions, questions, but at least people are talking about this lot again.
