3. Dragged Out

The story between Brian Myers and Matt Cardona is being seriously dragged out at this point. Cardona debuted at Hard To Kill on 16 January, with their first in-ring interaction together coming on the 2 February edition of Impact as Cardona saved Eddie Edwards from 'The Most Professional Wrestler' and Hernandez.

Last night, Myers walked in on Cardona and Edwards talking about him, confronting the former Zack Ryder as he wants Impact Wrestling to be the place he can break out in. It's quite clearly going to be culminating in a singles match at some point, either at Hardcore Justice on 10 April or, ideally, at Rebellion on 24 April. Impact are really scraping the bottom of the barrel at this stage, though.

They're visibly struggling to come up with new ways to have them on-screen together week after week without having them wrestle one-on-one. Hopefully, the payoff will have been worth it.
