6 Ups & 5 Downs From WWE NXT Spring Breakin' (30 April - Results & Review)

4. Still Can’t Be Bothered To Care

Shawn Spears Ridge Holland
WWE

NXT clearly is invested in Shawn Spears trying to bring out the demons in Ridge Holland. But judging by the reaction – or lack thereof – from the crowd, it’s just the company that cares.

Holland and Spears had a completely forgettable match that centered on Shawn trying to get Ridge to “lose it,” which he did not. Instead, Holland simply hit a Death Valley Driver into the turnbuckles before dropping Spears with a rampage DDT for the win.

The announcers tried to make it seem like this was just the next chapter in this saga, but judging by the fans facing the hard cam looking at their phones during the match, no one is reading this novel.

Sorry, sports fans. No buys.
