4. Zoey Thanks Trish

Whatever you think of the Becky Lynch/Trish Stratus rivalry, it’s done one important thing: given Zoey Stark’s nascent time on the main roster a purpose and a higher profile.

Stark was drafted to Raw and was feuding with Nikki Cross and Candice LeRae, which isn’t exactly a plum assignment. But at Night of Champions, Stark assisted Trish in defeating Becky Lynch, and on Monday, she actually provided a very plausible reason for her actions.

Zoey noted that she came to Raw to make a statement, and the best way to do what was alongside Trish, while also learning from one of the best. She also proceeded to thank Stratus, but it was clear that Stark is hitching her wagon to the Hall-of-Famer as a cheat code to avoid the long route to get to the top, which is smart for a new heel.

Becky Lynch then came out to challenge Trish, but she soon succumbed to a 2-on-1 beatdown, allowing Stark and Stratus to leave together with The Man laid out in the ring. Not a bad turnaround for someone who was wrestling to near silence a couple of weeks ago to then be booed out of the building for costing the beloved Lynch a PLE match.
