What the s*** was that crap?

Damian Priest and AJ Styles were just having a nice little grudge match, with Priest showing he could hang with a legendary wrestler, when the sports entertainment crap took over. Damian blocked a Phenomenal Forearm with a kick, sending AJ to the floor.

With his opponent down, did Priest attempt to maintain his advantage and win the match?

Of course not. He knelt in the ring, put his hands to the heavens and the lights went out, leaving only a blue spotlight on Priest. He then seethed at the camera as we went to a commercial break… and that was it. The match was over. No finish, no count-out, no pin, no DQ.

AJ’s frustration where he couldn’t even get the ridiculous mouthful “mountain of omnipotence” out about summed up all our feelings. What a terrible segment that basically rendered the entire Edge/Priest gimmick a joke. They’re going to have to work overtime to pull this one back.
