6 Ups & 5 Downs From WWE Raw (April 11)

4. So Silly, It’s Funny

This entire Ezekiel/Elias deal is ridiculous and should not be successful as a storyline… if not for Kevin Owens.

Owens is going to get this angle over by sheer force of will, as if he’s trying not to be outdone by best friend Sami Zayn on SmackDown. KO is on a mission to prove that the cleanshaven Ezekiel is not actually Elias’ younger brother, he actually is Elias, sans guitar, beard and jeans.

KO went so far as to bullrush Adam Pearce and Sonya Deville’s office about it, demanding Ezekiel’s birth certificate, driver’s license or library card, but was denied them because they’re personal records (including the library card). Owens then offered to run a lie detector test next week to prove who Ezekiel is.

Yes, this is batsh*t crazy, but Owens was so over-the-top that it just worked Monday night. We’ll see how next week goes.
