5. What They Should Have Done From The Jump

Here, we got a lesson in hindsight and how it’s always 20/20.

Raw gave us the much-anticipated rematch from three weeks ago, pitting Jeff Hardy against Karrion Kross after Hardy spoiled the NXT Champion’s debut. This time, however, Kross countered Jeff’s Whisper in the Wind with a Saito Suplex, followed by his Kross-jacket submission for the tap-out win. And then, Kross attacked Hardy after the match, putting him down with another Saito suplex and Kross-jacket.

And the fans booed, chanting, “You suck!” over and over. Had they had Kross come out three weeks ago and demolish Hardy like this, he might have actually gotten over with fans and not lost a month that he spent treading water. He certainly then wouldn’t have been taunted in NXT by fans.

It’s just enraging to watch stuff like this and realize that they know how to book this stuff, but they still seemingly can’t do it right.
