6 Ups & 5 Downs From WWE Raw (Aug 9)

4. Do As I Say, Not As I Do

One small sidebar of a storyline that WWE seems to have gotten right is the ongoing partnership between Mustafa Ali and Mansoor.

It was clear that Ali was no longer resisting the idea of Mansoor as a partner or that they could be successful. He told his partner to stop lamenting and apologizing, and start looking forward. Sadly, Ali would fall to T-Bar, despite a spirited comeback.

Afterwards, Mansoor saved Mustafa from a further beatdown by chasing off the heels, raising the question of who is teaching who. More immediately, it looks like we have an actual mid-card tag team for the time being, which is better than the two of them sitting back in catering and doing nothing.
