6 Ups & 5 Downs From WWE Raw (July 25)

2. A Clean Loss?

Going into the six-man tag main event, it was pretty clear that no one on either team could afford a clean loss. All six men have high-stakes SummerSlam matches, so something had to give.

Of course, seeing how Riddle’s dance partner (Seth Rollins) was not involved in the tag match, it was easy to predict what would happen: Rollins would interfere and either cause a DQ or lead to Riddle eating a pinfall.

Instead, neither happened. Riddle went for an RKO on Roman Reigns, who shrugged him off and nailed a spear for the clean win. Why? Was it too obvious that they decided to swerve everyone and have Roman and the Usos win cleanly… once again?

It was just baffling, and seeing what happened afterwards (which was good), it overall just made Riddle look weaker.
