6 Ups & 5 Downs From WWE SmackDown (Dec 6)

3. 'King' Corbin's Proper Humiliation

The live crowd in the UK rolled their eyes when 'King' Corbin claimed 'Big Dog' Roman Reigns was a "little chihuahua", invited a mascot dressed as a dog out to ringside with him and manipulated Reigns' graphics to yap rather than bark. That was WWE comedy at its worst.

This week's SmackDown was a noticeable improvement.

The dog food gimmick at the end of the show was 10x better than what's come before. Corbin wanted to humiliate someone he views as a false idol for the company he works for, and he made fun of the 'Big Dog' nickname properly this time. Everything, from his manic laughs to the handcuffs used, helped.

Who knew it'd take a few cans of dog gruel to bring this out in the normally-buffoonish 'King Of The Ring' winner? Bonus points to Corbin too for ditching the crown when he was blasting Roman in the ribs with stiff punches.
