5. Sami Zayn’s Colourful Commentary

When Sami Zayn retires from the ring, he has a real shot at becoming a worthwhile colour commentator.

The current IC Champion showed good presence on the headset alongside Michael Cole, and he never froze once. If only more pro wrestlers could show this kind of enthusiasm; the guy writing this has worked with several well-known men and women (some of whom are in WWE now) who didn't have a clue what to say on guest comms.

Sami didn't have that problem. Crucially, he also knew when to bow out and let the play-by-play man lead. That shows he has great instincts for the role and would only improve the more he did it. Hopefully, WWE were paying attention here, because they could have a new commentator on their hands over the next few years.

Obviously, Zayn might find things more difficult when he's narrating storylines he himself isn't part of, but this was promising stuff. These empty arena shows are allowing some on WWE's roster to shine, and that's a good thing.
