3. Wasted Picks

The first leg of WWE's 2021 Draft did throw up some fun stuff (more on that later), but...there were also some wasted picks in there too. This brand switcheroo should be all about wrestlers changing destinations - it absolutely shouldn't involve announcements that workers are staying on the same show.

That's sh*te.

Hearing that Roman Reigns, Happy Corbin, Madcap Moss and Naomi were still blue brand owned felt like a colossal waste of time on SmackDown. Being brutally honest, top champs like Reigns should be left out of the Draft unless they're switching to the other channel. One cannot put it much more succinctly than that.

Roman was the number one pick too. The number one pick. Sure, he's SmackDown's top boy, but everybody knew that going into the program. They didn't need a reminder. That first Draft pick needed to be a major move, and it's not like WWE didn't have some.
