6 Ups & 6 Downs From AEW Dynamite (23 Oct)

5. Slightly Rushed

CM Punk Bobby Fish
AEW

Nobody should have any complaints with Bobby Fish getting a solo crack against a megastar like CM Punk - Fish was regularly overlooked as a singles act on NXT, and he deserves the chance to show a larger audience what he's capable of. This though? Hmm. This wasn't quite there.

AEW rushed through Bob's match with Anthony Greene, and Punk's save happened too quickly to mean anything. Also, Punk coming out without that Living Colour entrance music should be sacrilege. Attention, Tony Khan: You play that track any chance you get.

Just saying.

On the plus side, it's still early days for the feud, and it's not like Fish vs. Punk will stink in-ring. It's just...meh, this is the kind of rivalry that might be better off as a feature on Rampage every week so it has more time. The whole segment felt rushed and got lost in the mix.
