6 Ups & 6 Downs From AEW Dynamite (23 Oct)

4. That Was Downright Scary

Lance Archer Eddie Kingston

It's tough to give this a 'Down'.

Lance Archer went for a moonsault on Eddie Kingston during their World Title Eliminator tournament match, and the big man ended up landing right on top of his head. That scary moment was a definite downer for everyone involved in the broadcast (the announcers were especially worried).

Archer and Kingston were having a decent little match too, but the ending took wind from everyone's sails in a heartbeat. There were legit fears that Lance had broken his neck, split his head open or suffered some other sort of career-threatening injury. Thank God the big guy's alright.

Although he was able to finish the match, he might want to think twice about working moonsaults into his act from now on. Again, maybe harsh to give this a 'Down', but it was a sobering moment on Dynamite that could've ended very, very badly.
