6 Ups & 6 Downs From AEW Dynamite (23 Oct)

3. Showing Her Ass

No, no, no, no, no!

On Rampage, Tay Conti saved Anna Jay by chasing off Britt Baker, Rebel and Jamie Hayter. Then, the Women's Title contender held the belt high above her head and stared down the champ. That was good stuff. Britt's promo on Dynamite, though, was a step in the wrong direction.

Baker went down the cheap route here by insulting Conti for apparently 'showing off her ass'. Basically, Britt's argument is that Tay is little more than eye candy and can't get the job done in-ring. This was senseless, to be honest, and it's not where AEW should be taking this top title feud.

The champ should be talking Tay up slyly, not dismissing her as some Diva-like nuisance. If anything, Conti putting hands on Baker's prized possession should've made her response more grounded and serious. Instead, she got catty like this was a 2003 feud between Sable and Torrie Wilson.
