6 Ups & 6 Downs from WWE Raw (2 June - Results & Review)

5. Liv Is Wise To Finn

Liv Morgan’s slowburn face turn feels like it’s going to be a series of steps in both directions until she finally makes the leap.

Monday night, she interfered on behalf of her tag partner Raquel Rodriguez, but she also displayed smart, thinking babyface characteristics backstage in the clubhouse.

Morgan pulled Finn Balor aside to confront him about letting Roxanne Perez into the clubhouse during her absence. She noted that Roxanne had been bringing chicken nuggets, rubbing Dominik Mysterio’s shoulders, and interfering in Judgment Day matches, all of which had to feel very similar to Liv. She flat called it out to Balor, stating that she saw “exactly what you’re doing.”

Balor played dumb – perhaps a bit too dumb. He devilishly said that Liv could trust Dom, to which Morgan responded that it wasn’t Mysterio she couldn’t trust, while Finn just smiled obliviously. It seems pretty clear that Liv is hot on what Finn is trying to do, particularly because of how she herself joined the group. What she might be missing is Raquel Rodriguez and Roxanne potentially screwing Morgan over down the line.

Regardless, it’s a very babyface move for the hero(ine) to predict the heel maneuvering.
