6 Ups & 6 Downs From WWE Raw (March 7)

4. Killing Off A Hot Crowd

Given how unbelievably hot the Cleveland crowd was for the Raw Tag Team Championship match that ate up the bulk of the first hour, you’d probably doubt that WWE could kill off that enthusiasm in one segment, but they did.

The very next segment saw Dana Brooke defend her 24/7 Championship against the only other woman in the “division,” Tamina. The match played out to silence, with fans unable to even must pity encouragement as Brooke, in her hometown, fought out of a Boston Crab. Dana’s rollup win was met largely with silence too.

The only thing that got a modest reaction was fans wanting Tamina to kiss Akira Tozawa afterwards. We’re not even going to touch that one.
