Considering that Sasha Banks won the Raw Women’s Championship via count-out, it’s tough to say that Asuka’s momentum was really derailed last month.

Sunday, Asuka reclaimed her title after falling short against Bayley earlier in the night, toppling Banks in a nice little back-and-forth match that really served as a backdrop to the saga of the Golden Role Models.

The match see-sawed back and forth until we found ourselves in a very similar spot that we were in during the SmackDown Women’s Championship match. However, whereas Sasha sacrificed herself for Bayley, allowing the champ to pin Asuka, Bayley dodged Asuka’s attack, allowing the Empress to lock in the Asuka Lock and tap Banks out.

And just like that, Sasha was Two Belts Banks no more. And now undoubtedly, things will start to get a little interesting between the two best friends.
